Located in: Zimbabwe - Bulawayo
Matobo Ingwe Lodge is situated on the border of the Matobo National Park on a private 6000 acre concession, about 45km from Bulawayo.
The lodge has 18 chalets, 10 of which are undergoing renovation currently, 8 are ready to receive guests. We offer self-catering, bed and breakfast as well as camping accommodation facilities for our guests. The campsite has safari tents of our own we are able to offer our guests, able to sleep two people each, as well a large area for people to setup their own tents, it also has ablutions available.
The lodge also has a large wedding/function venue able to hold up to 250 people, which makes it ideal for any size wedding, as well as team building weekends etc.
Activities such as games drives and guided walks are available on request, however the 6000 acre property has no dangerous game on it, so it is safe for our guests to walk or cycle without a guide. It has many interesting cave paintings on the property as well as shrines, and the ‘Iron wall’
Travel out of Bulawayo on the Matopos road until you reach the 35km peg, turn left there on the Aboretum road. This is signposted with our signs as well. Travel approx 500m down this road then turn right at our sign post indicating a dirt road going past the Matopos Police station. Then Travel approximately 6km down this dirt road following the signs.
We do have camping, bed and breakfast, as well as self-catering rates available.
