Trip Information
With this family safari you will discover beautiful landscapes, stretching from the volcanic cone of Mount Meru to the Great Rift Valley, from the dramatic, tree-strewn landscape of Tarangire to the endless plains of the Serengeti, also experience and enjoy wildlife of small to large mammals, birds and reptiles in their natural areas.

Day 1: Depart Home / Arrive Arusha
On your Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your lodge in Arusha town.
Meals: Half Board
Accommodation: Karama Lodge and Spa

Day 2: Arusha National Park
Meet your guide this morning then drive to a local Arusha school. Afterwards depart for Arusha National Park, a diverse park with forest, lakes, savannah, several craters and an extinct volcano Mount Meru.
• Meet a local Arusha school
• Picnic lunch in Arusha National Park
• Afternoon wildlife viewing
• Optional hike to a waterfall
• Swim, relax at your lodge
Meals: Full Board
Accommodation: Karama Lodge and Spa

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Today you will depart Arusha, traveling southwest through the Maasai Steppe to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's fourth largest. Full day of wildlife viewing in Tarangire National Park
• Picnic lunch in Tarangire National Park
• Moring and afternoon wildlife viewing
Meals: Full Board
Accommodation: Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 4: Tarangire National Park or Manyara National Park
Spend another day in Tarangire National Park, viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park.
• Full day of wildlife viewing in Tarangire National Park
• Swimming at Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Day 5: Ngorongoro Area
Arrive to the dramatic collapsed volcano, Ngorongoro Crater, where you will witness the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet.
• Visit a Maasai boma
Meals: Full Board
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Spend another day on the crater floor, searching out lion, hippo, the rare black rhino, hyena, wildebeest, zebra, African buffalo and much more.
• Full day of wildlife viewing on the floor of Ngorongoro Crater
Meals: Full Board
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge

Day 7: Oduvai Gorge / Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, continue your journey into the endless plains, toward the Serengeti.
• Brief stop at Olduvai Gorge
• Game enroute as you head to Serengeti National Park
• Picnic lunch in the park
Meals: Full Board
Accommodation: Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Day 8: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy the vastness of the Serengeti "the land that flows on forever" along with some of the best game-viewing that Africa has to offer.
• Full day of wildlife viewing in Serengeti National Park
• (optional hot-air balloon safari if reserved prior to your safari, note: children under 7yrs old are not allowed)
• Picnic lunch in the park
Meals: Full Board
Accommodation: Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Day 9: Serengeti / Arusha / Depart
Depart the Serengeti late this morning by flight and spend the rest of the day in Arusha, with a farewell lunch, some shopping and a dayroom to prepare for your flight home this evening.
• Charter flight from the Serengeti to Arusha (33lbs baggage maximum)
• Farewell lunch in Arusha
• Shopping
• Dayroom in Arusha
• Swim in the pool at your lodge
• Transfer to the International Airport for your flight home

Price based on 2 adults 2 children

- All park entrance fees.
- Sightseeing as specified in itinerary
- Domestic flight from Serengeti to Arusha (one way)
- Transport on 4WD vehicle with the pop-up roof, which enable you to spot wildlife easier.

- Lodge fees.
- Mineral water 1.5lt per person per day.
