Comment: | Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro was a truly memorable experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this tour operator. All transfers were on time. Chislon, my travel contact handled all my queries and e mails and was very helpful when my luggage did not arrive at Kilimanjaro airport. My very experienced guide Wilson was both professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure trekking with him. The porters did a fantastic job and I was always amazed at the meals produced under the circumstances. Thank you so much. |

Comment: | I used these company off Africa Guide list to do a 6 day Kilimanjaro Machame route Hike Booking was very easy, and they made a point to reply all my emails. The rate was within my limits. For a small Company I give this Guys thumbs up. The Tour agent and My Guide for The Kilimanjaro Hike where good folks. They Got to to my Hotels 2hrs before I checked in .( Took a Bus from Mombasa and got delayed en route. Again the Guide- Mr Wilson was on time to pick me up on the day of Hike. I did the Machame route, a party of One, and I should say I got the Best of the Mountain, my schedule was very flexible, thus I summited a day earlier. Monday-Thursday. All the crew were there for me I can say. Food was good and plenty. I would recommend this Tour company to any one out there. I live in Texas. |

Comment: | I resently got back from a 6-day hike up the Machame-route to the summit of Kilimanjaro. I travelled during the late rain-season which beforehand was my greatest worry, but fortunately the rain was moderat, and towards the summit the weather was dry and great. If you look for a hike without the great masses of tourists I would recommend april-may, but the weather can be a bit unpredictable. I booked my travel through a company directed to me by the Africa Guide. Equipment and staff were all great. Experienced guide, decent food and the tent kept me dry during nights. For my next trip to Africa I will not hesitate to use the services of the Africa Guide. |

Comment: | The trip was exellent. Not even a problem. What's more the company reacted very quick and positive to change plans avoiding Kenia demonstrations, without any extra charges for all of us. That's a great detail in long and expensive trips. Regarding the organization of the treks. Amayzing, both guides, for Mount kenya and Kilimanjaro were excellent, food and timetable. We were always the first, avoiding the crowd, this way we enjoyed the enviroment like being alone! Hotel stays in Tanzania, excellent Impala hotel. Parkside hotel in Nairobi, not that good but comfortable. To end with, I will like to encourage you all to visit Tanzania and Kenia with this operator as they will organise you everything and take care of you all time if surrounding problems come by. |

Comment: | I had a wonderful trip to Africa. Climbing Kilimanjaro was truly amazing. The operator was very informative and prompt with their e-mails. Always ensuring me that their main priority was me. They satisfactorily answered all my questions and passed on valuable advice re the mountain. They were there to pick me up when I arrived in Arusha and organized clean comfortable accommodation. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly at the hotel. Whilst on the mountain my guide was helpful and had had a good knowledge of the route. His team of porters were efficient and friendly. My backpack and tent was always waiting for me when I arrived at camp. Making it to the very top of Mt Kilimanjaro was fantastic, if anyone is considering doing the climb I would recommend this operator. |

Comment: | This was our first trip to Tanzania and it certainly won't be our last! Our 6 day climb of Mount Kilimanjaro was smooth running all the way thanks to the incredible expertise of our guide Alex and 7 porters (whom we are sure could out run a mountain goat.) We were then collected and transferred to Meru View Lodge where we received fantastic hospitality from Helmut & Josephine. And thereafter we enjoyed two amazing days on safari seeing an endless stream of animals. Our guide Heruma seemed to know instinctively where to drive and find all the action. This trip totally exceeded all our expectations and we are still buzzing from what has been an adventure of a lifetime. |

Comment: | At every step of the Kilimanjaro climb the experienced guide and porters made us feel completely safe and comfortable in otherwise extreme conditions. On safari, the crew not only had quality equipment and kept us well fed but their expanse knowledge of the wildlife made all the difference in the world. I would recommend this company to anyone that wants to experience the wonders of Africa in a professional, informative, and adventurous way. |

Comment: | The contacts were great and gave lots of help always replying promptly . The trip went well, very well organised and we did see what we wanted to – including the trip to the Gorillas – amazing. Our guide/driver was excellent – a very careful and good driver on sometimes appalling roads, he was also a great game spotter – we got a marvellous experience of tree climbing lions! One of the unexpected highlights was the trips on the boats – to Kazinga channel, to the Murchison falls and to the source of the Nile. Especially in the first two – we had great game viewing from the comparatively cool of the boat with excellent close up views of a wide variety of animals. While Uganda does not have the huge numbers of game we have seen in say Botswana and Kenya – this way of seeing them was great and could be promoted for Uganda. I will certainly recommend this operator to others. |

Comment: | Starting in Kenya at Masai Mara national park in mid September was perfect. Rhino camp was great , food delicious. We saw all the big 5 on our first day. We moved on to Tanzania on our 3rd day overnighting on Lake Victoria, Serenity on the lake. Wow, beautiful grounds and exceptional lodge and again delicious meals. Next day relaxing on the lake followed by a safari on the Serengeti. Again an abundance of animals migrating south, more large herds of Zebra and Wildebeest. We camped over night at Acacia Camp on the Serengeti, magnificent luxury tent, beautiful lounge and dinning room. We remained on the Serengeti, more incredible vistas and wildlife, overnighting at the Lobo Wildlife Lodge A must visit. Over the next 7 days we visited Lake Natron, the Rift Valley, Manyara Park and Lodge and the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater and Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. We just marveled at this place. We then visited Tarangire National Park staying at the beautiful Rioka Tented Lodge. We travelled back to Kenya making one last stop at another beautiful Lodge, Amboseli Kibo Safari Lodge. All of our accommodations were excellent, clean, friendly staff, great hosts for visitors to their country. Delicious meals and not to forget we had a picnic lunch packed for us most days. A safari picnic was unexpected, however one of the highlights of our vacation. This safari package for my wife and myself was wonderful. Our accommodations, meals, transportation, cultural visits exceeded our expectations. Thanks to you we saw the great vistas and animal life of Kenya and Tanzania in comfort and safety. I would happily recommend this to anyone planning a visit to Africa. |

Comment: | I had a wonderful time. As a single woman I felt very safe... Which I was concerned about. My driver was fabulous! I'm raving to my friends about you and the Salt Lick Lodge and the reasonable cost of the trip. I hope to return on a much better flight schedule. I understand Mombasa is closer. |

Comment: | We did book our 4 days /3 nights safari in Amboseli and the safari operator was very good and very helpful, they really give us some good advise. They proposed Kibo camp which is a tented lodge. Kibo was a very good camp , the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The driver /guide provided to us was very, very good, knowledgable and very friendly and made our trip very enjoyable. The 4x4 vehicle was of good standard |

Comment: | Our family of five have just been on safari to Ruaha, Mikumi and Selous. We had a great time and saw a leopard, cheetah, over 30 lions and hundreds of elephants. We were very satisfied with the service. Elifasi in the office was very helpful and patient in organising the itinerary. The guide/driver Imanuel was excellent in spotting and finding wildlife. The lodges were all of a good standard for both accommodation and food. We reduced the costs by staying at lodges just outside the park gates. This was very good value for money and we would have no hesitation recommending or using them again. |

Comment: | The trip was very good and our guide was very good as well. The safari operator gave us confidence while we were planning our trip and they responded quickly with our enquiry. We are so great to see many wild animals especially big five in the national parks. We had the chance to see the lions hunting but they failed. The African Tulip is very good and we can order food from their dinner manual while other hotels were providing dinner buffet with similar dishes. The trip could score 8. It was really a very remarkable trip for our couple. |

Comment: | I am very happy to provide feedback on our recently completed trip to Tanzania. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time on all our days in Tanzania and couldn't have asked for a better guide than Apollo. Despite the odd puncture, which seems to be an occupational hazard for any vehicle which drives on unmade-up roads, the entire trip went off without a hitch. We were happy with the hotels that we stayed in and all the other parts of the trip that could be controlled by the tour operator, although to the surprise of our guide we preferred the Sopa hotels we stayed in to the Serena hotels. The only downside was that the animals at times didn't co-operate by coming into close range for taking photos, but that's not something the tour operator can control and we don't consider that we can blame them for that (just our bad luck in some respects) We would have no hesitation in recommending this safari operator to anyone, especially if they are lucky enough to get Apollo as their guide, and would rate the entire experience as a 9 out of 10 holiday. (we have been to quite a few places in the world including the Galapagos Islands, Borneo, China, India, Hong Kong and Japan and have yet to rate anything a 10. But this last trip has probably come the closest) |

Comment: | I just returned from a 13 day safari to Kenya and Tanzani. It a was fantastic trip and the price was great too !! It was my second trip to Africa and my first with this tour operator. We were 4 women (aged 25-69) and we had our own private safari vehicle in both Kenya and Tanzania. This is very important, especially for first time safari travelers, to have your own window even with the pop-up top. The vehicle we had seated 9, but it was our private vehicle as promised by the safari operator. We saw countless safari vehicles so packed with people that it was obvious that not everyone would have a great view. We first went to Kenya, then Tanzania, then back to Kenya to spend our final night at Giraffe Manor in Nairobi. The guide for Kenya was Jonathon. He was wonderful, the best! Reliable, knowledgeable about the parks, the animals and so accommodating that when we returned to Nairobi after Tanzania we asked for him again. I just can't say enough good things about Jonathon. He was there upon our arrival in Nairobi and for the next 8 days in Kenya. When I lost my battery charger he found a place for me to replace it and drove me into the town. (warning...the lodges we stayed at did not carry camera equipment). Saw the Big 5, saw the aftermath of a kill, saw lions, giraffe, leopard, cheetah...you name it, we saw it - every day! Our guide for Tanzania was Apollo and again we had the best guide in Tanzania. Apollo clearly loves his job and is so enthusiastic its infectious. He is very knowledgeable and fun to be with...great sense of humor as he loved to tease us. Apollo also was very accommodating (stopping when we screamed "simama" because we saw a shop we wanted to spend some time in or we wanted to back up for a certain picture. When we were in the Serengeti he pulled over to the side of the road because he spotted a male lion. (both of our guides had vision that's hard to believe) Right after we pulled up the lion came out of the high grass, walked across the road in back of our truck, then came around to the front and sat down in the road in front of us. Amazing! This is how we saw many animals, up close and personal. We also got to meet Chislon, our agent, in Arusha. I can't tell you how many emails we sent back and forth to get the final itinerary. He worked very hard for us to get exactly what we wanted. The food and accommodations were great, especially the SOPA Lodges. You will never go hungry. Too much food...we all gained weight! The one place I wasn't comfortable in was the Katikati Tented Camp in Serengenti. I think this would be wonderful for families but it was a little too rough-hewn for us older women. The 25 year old didn't mind it at all...she said that's what camping is about. Our final night was spent at Giraffe Manor. This is very pricey but well worth it. You get to feed the giraffes up close and they even come to your bedroom window for food. You can also have breakfast with them as they stick their heads in the dining room. The really cater to you at Giraffe Manor and if you can afford to splurge this is the place to do it, even if only for one night. Our itinerary was Samburu Reserve, Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara in Kenya, then Serengeti, Ngorongoro and the Crater, Tarangire National Park, Arusha in Tanzania and then Giraffe Manor in Nairobi. It was a very busy itinerary and my only regret was not scheduling time in Zanzibar between Kenya and Tanzania. |

Comment: | Our holiday in Tanzania was a perfect 10.... we enjoyed every thing there. It's been a wonderful and exciting vacation for all of us. Tanzania is a wonderful place and the people of Tanzania are warm and welcoming. It has been a pleasure to make business with the operator and Mr. Peniel Vello Laizer. Our vacation was well organized from the minute we arrived till the minute we depart and it's all thanks to them. We had a wonderful ranger (Apollo), we enjoy his personality and his wide knowledge of Tanzania. We had an amazing vacation, we will never forget it. |

Comment: | I really enjoyed this tour. Of all the things I had planned for my dad's visit, he enjoyed this the most, and said it's what he would remember the most. The tour guides were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable on what the tour covered. All the people in the duration of the tour knew them and that gave the tour a more authentic and welcoming vibe. Very good tour, very good guides, and a very good experience. If anyone else comes to town, this is a tour I will always set up for them. To show them the real Tanzania. |

Comment: | Me and my husband recently travelled to Tanzania for a safari. First we planned our safari with Peniel (our trip coordinator) through internet. He was very pleasant and always responding quickly to my many many questions. He took the time to really understand what we really wanted and made sure we got it. Then he met us at the airport and brought us to our hotel for our first night before our safari. He explained everything to us and was very thorough. We really liked him. He is a very special person to us. Then we met our first guide for 1 day Winnie. Very nice young fellow. Then came Apollo for the rest of the safari. What can we say about Apollo. Well he is one of a kind. Very nice person and one thing that we noticed is that he is very helpful with everybody. We had so many laughs with him especially him and my husband. Very knowledgeable. We saw lots of animals. We also had the honor of meeting his family. What a nice family and we were so well received. Then there was our cook Benson(Ben Manase Kingu). Wow what good food we had. And he was always so eager to help. He made sure our flap tent were open during the day while we were gone on a safari drive or if it rained made sure they were closed. Very nice person. He even made us a cake all decorated and Happy New Year written on it since our safari started on jan 1st. We also got to meet his family. They were so nice. Well all in all we want to say that we had a fantastic time with fantastic people that we now consider our friends. Thank You everybody for making our trip so memorable. Judy & Germain |
