Special Offer - 4 to 13 October 2020 - TWO SPOTS LEFT!
Shimuwini (bushveld lodge / northern Kruger) 1 night
Shrouded in mopane trees, the area produces sightings of waterbuck, nyala, kudu, and elephant, as well as a variety of bird species. While the river does dry up in summer months, animal sightings are more frequent in winter as groups challenge each other over quickly disappearing pools left in the wake of the disappearing river.
Shingwedzi Camp (restcamp / north eastern Kruger) 2 nights
Centered in a quiet clearing along the banks of the Shingwedzi river, this eponymous camp provides a well-balanced Kruger National Park accommodation offering of a luxury holiday. Shrouded in mopane trees, the area produces sightings of waterbuck, nyala, kudu, and elephant, as well as a variety of bird species.
Mopani Camp (restcamp / northern Kruger) 1 night
Huddled against and overlooking the banks of the dam, visitors can take advantage of the winter trend for park animals to move towards water sources as they migrate towards the dam's edge, providing excellent viewing opportunities.
Roodewal Bush Lodge Camp (northern Kruger) 3 nights
Situated 44km north of Satara, on the banks of the Timbavati River, Roodewal is unique as it features the privacy of each individual sleeping unit, that makes it ideal for parties, corporate incentives, and small wedding parties. The whole camp can be occupied by the party that makes the booking, and the units are spaced to offer privacy to each guest. Another lovely feature at Roodewal Bush Lodge in Kruger National Park is the private viewing deck, built on stilts which overlooks the Timbavati River.
Orpen (restcamp / north western Kruger) 2 nights
The area around the camp allows for watchings the nomadic Senegal (Lesser Black-winged) Plover, and, on a few occasions, Montagu's Harrier. White-faced and Comb (Knob-billed) Ducks, Little Grebe (Dabchick) and Lesser Moorhen, African Rail and African Crake, as well as Wooly-necked, Marabou, Open-billed (African Openbill), White and Black storks may all be seen in the camp and surrounding areas.
